Blaze Entertainment has announced that the Legacy of Kain Collection will be released for the retro-inspired Evercade family of systems in September.The collection, which costs $25, includes both Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain and Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, and preorders will be available on August 30. It’s the second Giga Cart for Evercade, is a game console family avaialble in both TV and handheld versions that focuses on retro games with ROM cartridges. Also on August 30, the Evercade EXP-R handheld and VS-R home console will be available for $100.

Phoenix was very involved in the film, developing the screenplay with Haynes and Jon Raymond. Blizzard has just revealed more information on what players can expect in Overwatch 2’s Season 12, New Frontiers, when it launches on August 20. The latest season will introduce Clash–a new game mode–as well as more maps and the new support hero Juno.Season 12 appears to be centered around Egyptian gods. Some skins for this season include Doomfirst as Bast and as Bast and Reaper as Anubis, to name a few. One of the new maps will reflect this by taking players to the Temple of Anubis. The other map, Hanaoka, was inspired by the Hanamura map introduced in the first Overwatch.

The Umbrella Academy is done saving the world. After four seasons and 36 episodes, the Netflix series based on Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá’s graphic novel has come to an end. The adopted children of Reginald Hargreeves (Colm Feore) couldn’t keep saving the world from imploding forever and finally found a way to stop the apocalypse from happening across all of the timelines.The cast wasn’t informed how the show would wrap up until shortly before filming the final episodes, though some of them began to suspect the general ending about halfway through shooting the fourth and final season. The ending may have felt inevitable to some of them, but it was still hard to say goodbye to these characters who have transformed their careers in more ways than one.

PlayStation’s big new multiplayer shooter, Concord, launches later this month. If you’re excited about playing the game as soon as possible, developer Firewalk has now announced the game’s early-access launch times and global launch times. Additionally, the developer outlined the game’s post-launch roadmap, including the debut of Season 1 in October.
How to get early access
People who buy the Concord digital deluxe edition ($60 USD) can start playing on Tuesday, August 20, while the global launch for everyone begins on Friday, August 23. Pre-loading for all editions of the game begins today, August 13, on PS5. Details about pre-loading on PC were not announced.
