Read morePlayStation’s big new multiplayer shooter, Concord, launches later this month. If you’re excited about playing the game as soon as possible, developer Firewalk has now announced the game’s early-access launch times and global launch times. Additionally, the developer outlined the game’s post-launch roadmap, including the debut of Season 1 in October.
How to get early access
People who buy the Concord digital deluxe edition ($60 USD) can start playing on Tuesday, August 20, while the global launch for everyone begins on Friday, August 23. Pre-loading for all editions of the game begins today, August 13, on PS5. Details about pre-loading on PC were not announced.
It’s been 42 years since Tron premiered in theaters, and 14 years since Tron: Legacy was released. The third installment, Tron: Ares, has been in the works for years. But at D23, Disney was finally ready to share the first look at the next chapter in the franchise. Jared Leto plays the title character, Ares, a program who has come from the Grid and entered the real world. Leto was on hand for the preview alongside Greta Lee, Evan Peters, and original Tron star Jeff Bridges. Peters will be playing Julian Dillinger, a character who is presumably related to David Warner’s Ed Dillinger from the first film. This year’s D23 started with Disney revealing some details about the forthcoming Avengers ride, set for the Disney California Adventure park at Disneyland Resort. The ride, which will come as part of Phase 2 of Avengers Campus, will have guests teaming up with the Avengers as they take on bad guys across the multiverse.GameSpot was on hand as we got a first look at the vehicle for the ride which looks, on the surface, to operate similar to the Transformers and Spider-Man rides at Universal Studios’ domestic theme parks.
Diablo 4 Season 5, Season of the Infernal Hordes, has arrived, bringing a new season activity. The new activity is the Infernal Horde, a Vampire Survivors-inspired mode where you must battle it out with an endless onslaught of enemies for a chance at big rewards. There is also a new season storyline and quests to complete and new Seasonal Journey objectives. There are seven chapters of objectives to complete, with a small bundle of rewards to earn for completing each chapter. Sony has revealed the PC specs for God of War Ragnarok, and while they seem reasonable for the game, the amount of storage required is quite shocking.The PC version of God of War Ragnarok takes up a staggering 190GB of storage, which is over twice as much as PS4 at 84GB and nearly twice as much as PS5 at 106.9GB. For the GPU, you’ll need a minimum of an NVIDIA GTX 1060 or AMD RX 5500 XT. For the CPU, you’ll need at least an Intel i5-4670k or AMD Ryzen 3 1200. At least 8GB of RAM is also required.On the high-end GPU side, you’ll need NVIDIA RTX 4070 Ti or AMD RX 7900 XT, and for high-end CPUs, you’ll need Intel i5-11600K or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, along with 16GB of RAM.
